HON 5701GA90T Volt Series Task Chair, Polyester, Navy Fabric Review

Purchased 2 of these for office use.Comparing to a steelcase task chair, this is only $80 vs $250.comfort level isn't as nice, but it gets the job done.We use this in the warehouse, the fabric is heavy duty, can take the abuse it gets day in & day out.Seat is nice & big for the big guys and the wheel base has a wide diameter so it does not tip over easily.

Buying 5 more for the rest of the guys, this is a good chair for heavy duty use, for computer desk daily use might be a bit lacking, but at $80 each, well worth the price.

Anji Mountain Bamboo Rug Co. Bamboo Roll Up Chair Mat Review

This is a very nice chair mat. I had wanted to update our office from the ugly, impossible to handle plastic chair mats and finally found one at a very reasonable price. The product is SO easy to use, it rolls up and there's no curled edges to deal with. It looks very nice and I like bamboo products. The only negative (I should have done more homework on this) is that I should have spent more money and gotten one heavier than 5mm thick. The person using the chair that this pad is on is about 160 lbs. and after only two weeks it's pretty marked up even though the chair has soft casters.I think if I had gotten the heavier one it would have held up better. You don't notice the marks so much from a distance, really only if you're standing on the mat.

Guest Chair - Black Review

I've had this chair for 3 1/2 years now and it's as good now as it was then, just a little dirtier.I wanted a nice comfortable computer chair that wasn't wheeled but I could still manuever easily (scoot back and forth with ease).Without the four rubbery plastic stands under the chair (can take off or put on with some amount of effort and strength), this chair works wonders on carpet.It stays still with no worry of tipping in just about any way you choose to sit, unlike the wheely chairs, but also scoots in and out of your desk with ease.

I've sat in this chair for 12+ hours a day for days, maybe weeks, on end and have never had an issue with comfort.This is a very comfortable chair.About the only negative I can find with it is that it seems that one side seems just the tiniest bit more springy than the other.But that's pretty nitpicking there.But it brings up another thing I like about the design.With the open back concept of the legs, the chair has a little bit of springiness to it, but doesn't in anyway impede a comfortable or good posture like the wheely chairs.The four legged chairs just don't have any springiness at all.

this chair I got is great!

it is heavy duty and so solid, I really think it could get to 450 and past that without any real trouble....
very soft, very tall back...solid arms...very heavy duty 5 star legs....doesn't roll that well on carpet, but what monster of a chair would?

like i said, this thing is heavy, and a monster, but if you need it, it might suit you...I am 350...and I work as a tech and have stuff on my belt and I can sit down on this chair and nothing will hit the arms like the ones at work, you know, the ones for Skinny people :)

but if you are looking for just one bad mofo chair, this is it, I think it might even be able to go into war and come back with a story or two to tell :)

I am pleased with this product.I have a lot of trouble with chairs that don't make my legs hurt because they sit too high.This chair adjusts low enough for me with short legs and I don't get pain from sitting in the chair.I took a chance ordering online without being able to sit inthe chair, but I was pleasantly suprised, the chair is also so comfortable, that I feel asleep in it sitting in front of the computer.The price is reasonable too.

Exec Chair with Mesh Seat - Black Review

I've had this chair at 3 previous employers.I have a lot of problems with neck strain and "Wry Neck," and need a chair with good head and neck support.This chair is very adjustable; both the headrest and the lumbar support can be easily removed and replaced upside-down to extend the range of adjustments.The tilting mechanism is one of the best I've ever tried, every bit as good as the Aeron.I'm a big guy, 6' tall and 250 lbs, so the chair is sturdy too.

The chair arrives unassembled in a large box, but assembly takes about 10 minutes with one large screwdriver and the tools included in the box.The box is light enough to be carried by one (large, or two small) people.

My new employer has a large supply of very fancy torture racks they bill as "ergonomic chairs" left over from last year's layoffs, so getting one of these from them isn't in the cards.I'm ordering two, one for the office and one for home, to save my neck.

For the price available here or elsewhere on the web, this chair can't be beat.Note: I've never had one of these for more than a year, so I don't know about longevity.I've never experienced a problem with any yet, and the first one eliminated my Wry Neck symptoms in a few days.Highly recommended.

Ergo Ex Chair Review

Recently I had some serious back and leg pain from a severely herniated disc. I found that I was most comfortable at work (darn it!) in the Herman Miller Mirra chairs that they have for everyone. I wanted something at home with good lumbar spine support that would allow me to work on my computer as comfortably as work. The price of the Herman Miller chairs was too much so I did some research and settled on the Balt Ergo Executive office chair.

Pros: Very adjustable! Seat height, tension for back recline, armrests, headrest; even the lumbar support can be adjusted higher and lower for your height and its lock-down mechanism moves it in and out. Also very comfortable. Padded seat. The mesh back is very comfortable and reduces sweating. Inexpensive compared to most other posture support chairs.

Cons: Headrest seems a little flimsy. It hasn't broken but I expect it to go first. It is attached with 2 steel shafts that extend up some ways. At the height that works best for me, it is high enough that there is noticeable flex when rest my head on it.

Summary. If you need a posture support chair and are on a budget, this is a good chair.

Mirra Latitude Office Chair by Herman Miller - Fully Adjustable Review

I've had my Mirra for over 3 years now and I love it. The chair arms are particularly nice - they are the perfect shape and very adjustable, with plenty of padding (some other chair arms tend to be too rectangular with uncomfortable edges).The chair bottom is basically identical to the more expensive Aeron and feels just the same to me; easy on the legs, perfect amount of support and keeps you cool. Also, the adjustments on this chair are very easy to use, which is a big improvement over the Aeron.

I find the chair back to be very comfortable and it provides great adjustable lower-back support. However, I've talked to some people who found its rigidity uncomfortable, so I would try sitting in this before buying it as the back seems to be a love it or hate it issue.

Summary: Great chair, plenty of adjustments, great value, very durable so far (after 3+ years)
