I needed a chair for work, and I am very pleased with the back support that this chair gives me. As a nurse, I have to hop in and out of the chair all day, but I get a good support which I needed due to a recent back injury. The chair is strong and seems very durable, and I am pleased with it, especially for the price.

The thing I did not like was the assembly directions, which were pretty much non-existant, so hopefully you have a good visual grasp on how this chair goes together. After a few trial and errors we figured it out. The pictures do not show all sides, so it did not help with our assembly dilemna.

Fabric Task Chair Black Fabric Review

I bought this chair in hopes of buying a good sturdy chair, and not have to pay very much for one.I got exactly what I wanted.

First of all, I was a bit intimidated by the size of the box.However, when I opened it, I realized that many of the small annoying parts that strain your eyes when you read about them in the instruction sheet had already been put together for me.In other words, it looks like someone had already screwed in a few of the parts already.The only things that were left to put together were the major parts of the chair, which were quite intuitive to put together without even really having to rely on the instruction sheet.Just a few snaps here and there with the wheels and the chair base, and voila, my chair was put together.All in all, it took me only about 7 minutes to put the entire chair together.

Secondly, I am sitting on the chair now and it is very sturdy.The padding of the seat cushion is very thick and comfortable and the back support is very firm.For the price, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I shopped around on the internet before buying this product, and Amazon had the best price and exactly what I needed. Global Industries Concorde Pulsor Deluxe Executive Chair Review

Probably the best chair I've ever sat in. Extremely comfortable and great build quality. The massager isn't half bad either considering how much cushion it has to work through. I flip it on every now and then throughout the day, and my pregnant wife sits in it for hours with the massage going. It's a nice stress reliever. As listed, it does weighs 86 pounds so it's on the heavy side, but if you don't want extra weight just get a model without the massagers. I do recommend searching a used office depot store to find it cheaper, but most would agree it is worth the money for a great chair.

I have a really bad back.Yes, I know that is the commonest complaint in the US of A, but I REALLY have a bad back (does six months in a body cast give you an idea?) Anyways, I also have to sit and work on my computer for hours at a time.Then I hobble off, back in spasm, aching and sore.So, I began looking again (note that again) to find a back friendly chair that works on a very short -only (4'9")woman.I ended up with the Alera,, and it is amazing.It can be adjusted so that I get full lumbar support.Actually, it fits the curve of my back from just below my upper shoulders to my seat. Oh, and the seat of the chair itself is molded so that my bottom doesn't get numb after hours of work.The mesh material doesn't make you sweaty. Also, you can adjust the seat back and forth so I am the correct distance from my keyboard and don't have to crane my neck (which goes into spasm with an ordinary chair.)Even the armrests are moveable. I am not only recommending this for short people.Since the seat, back and arms are all so adjustable, most people should be able to find an optimal comfortable position with this chair. I did not get the model with a separate head rest because I knew that couldn't be adjusted far enough down to support my neck.However, this chair holds me so well, there is no strain on my neck and head.If I do want to rest my head, the back tilts backwards, or so the instructions say.I haven't had the need to try that yet.

Also, the chair was delivered within a week after being ordered from an Amazon seller.What's interesting is that the seller called me the day after I ordered it to tell me about it and to see if I had questions, a nice customer relations touch.

I really love this chair.

This chair is one of the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever sat in.Even though it says it has a 17" deep seat that is deceptive.The back pushes you too far forward, making it feel as if you are being pushed off the chair seat.The contour of the seat gives no support to your thighs.Four members of my family, of varying sizes, all complain about how uncomfortable it is.My back actually hurts after sitting on it for 15 min.The only positive thing I can say about the chair is that the wheels move the chair around very well.My daughter loves scooting around the kitchen on it for fun.Unless you plan on using it as a scooter chair don't waste you money.

HumanScale Freedom Chair, Black Wave Fabric Review

I feel compelled to write this review, despite the fact that I bought this chair (in black leather) three years ago, because it stands out as one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I am 5'11", of medium build, and this chair is profoundly uncomfortable to sit in. The sensation is that your body is being *rejected* by the chair--pushed out of it toward the front, as if it does not want you sitting in it. Researching chairs, I was taken in by all the Freedom Chair hype--for example, how wonderful the perfectly even armrests are, which are supposed to keep your body aligned. The reality is that the armrests are attached (cheaply) with a large 'U' of metal, with only the crudest ability to adjust them. They "clunk-clunk-clunk" into 4 positions, only one of which is actually practical to use. And think about it: Any good tailor will tell you that most people's bodies are NOT perfectly symmetrical, with one arm or leg or shoulder being half an inch higher or longer than the other. Making a chair's armrest mechanism cheaply, with no ability to adjust the arms independently--and then claiming that is a superior feature to other chairs, to promote balance and harmony? That's not just cheap, it's not just pretentious, it's hogwash.

I could go on about other failings of this chair (shoddy construction, leather that puckles and wrinkles after light use of two years, arm rest panels that are separating from the frame, etc.), but I think you get the idea. Bottom line: I wince when I think of the money I wasted on this purchase. Do better than I did, don't believe the hogwash, and avoid this pretentious, poorly-designed, and obscenely overpriced chair.

Fuego Multi-Function Super Task Chair Review

3 years ago I bought a deluxe office chair for about $150, it was piece of garbage. This year I decided it was time to trash that chair.
Thank goodness I bought this chair.
The Fuego Super Task chair is better than the office chair I use at work (which is probably a $600 chair). I have spent several hours sitting in this chair in comfort (I am a big PC gamer).
For me it was important to find a fully adjustable chair that could be sat in for extended periods of time and be durable. This is that chair.

Chair has the following:
Good construction -metal parts, does not feel cheap
Fully adjustable - height, tilt back and seat, arms, etc.
Quality seat cushion - very comfortable
Back mesh - good so you don't get hot while sitting for extended periods
Easy to assemble - everything is very easy to put together, took me less than 10 mins

I put a lot of time researching chairs that where good bangs for the buck and this is the one to get.

I am only 6' tall and 170 lbs. which is usually an average height/weight.

I have both the back piece and the headrest adjustment at the max height.AND STILL the lombard support is too low and the headrest goes across hitting my shoulders when I'm upright.Not only that but the seat is at the lowest height to the ground and for correct ergonomics I need it to go 1 more inch.

I'm very disappointed.

The only thing that I can think of that would explain all of the problems is that they are sticking leather seats on the normally mesh seated chairs bringing your butt up a couple inches.This is a lot of money to spend on a chair that doesn't fit an average person correctly.

Maybe the full mesh chairs are correctly designed.Do not get his chair (mesh back and leather seat) if you are 6' or taller and if you are shorter than that you will need a footstool to bring your feet to the right level.

I ordered this chair for my son as a birthday gift.The "returns policy" for the manufacturer gave me pause.When I called I was told the item was not returnable because they only accept returns on items over 50 pounds in weight.So we knew we were taking a risk in ordering it.However, the customer service rep told me that my son was within the weight guidelines for the chair.I told her his height and weight.Thechair is sold as a recliner desk chair.However, the leg support only extends as far as beneath the knees of my son -- obviously inadequate as a recliner.So we are stuck with a $300+ purchase which is not satisfactory to the user.Obviously, the lesson we've learned is, don't buy a chair that 1) YOU HAVEN'T SAT IN 2)CAN'T BE RETURNED.We won't repeat these mistakes.If you are over 6 feet tall, don't buy this chair.My son is 6'1" tall and this chair is not suitable for the use it purports to serve.
